Can't print at work/print ok at home
by ADDn00b from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4ZFYA)
Trying to print to wireless networked printer at the office, and although the printer recognizes my attempt (I can hear it warm up in response) it does not actually follow through with printing.
I have had this issue on Mint 18.3, as well, and I eventually figured it out. Though I have no idea what I did to get it working.
We do have a code in order to print in color, but otherwise, there is no password required. I don't know what I'm looking at on the CUPS error log, but authentication is mentioned a few times.
I've scoured Fedora's documentation looking for a solution, and now I'm completely hypnotized and ready for a 40-year nap.
Hoping this community can help me find a solution. Thank you!
