NFL players take to Twitter on proposed CBA
Details of the collective bargaining agreement proposed by NFL owners emerged Wednesday when ESPN's Adam Schefter reported players would receive a 48.5% share in revenue if the season expanded to 17 games.
Not long after, NFL players took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the proposal. It's believed owners and players could vote on the new CBA by the end of the week.
Jacksonville Jaguars star Leonard Fournette was blunt in his assessment.
I disagree with the 17 games

However, New York Jets safety Jamal Adams was in favor of an extra game. He deleted his tweet, but not before San Francisco 49ers corner Richard Sherman reached out to him.
Call me brother. It's never that simple. Gotta go deeper than that in this. https://t.co/e9sHLrkZuo

Adams explained why he took down the tweet but remained of the same opinion.
Stop reaching! Tbh I just didn't feel like dealing with random people that have no idea what's going on in my mentions.I still think it would be dope to add a extra game. But I do understand there's more to it! https://t.co/KUw54ItGw5

Other players were more concerned with their share of the pot, and lifetime health insurance.

48-48.5% split (roughly) between 1,700 players. 52-51.5% split among 31 owners?!...Yet this equation is supposed to make sense."aTMi Not to mention the .5% only happens if we agree to an extra game a season. #KnowYourWorth https://t.co/v1jNZG7ml9

The public doesn't see the little details. It's bigger than this. https://t.co/Hnz5T0UGIi

This. If player safety is paramount, this should make it through with ease https://t.co/rHpVQQXI2v
