LAN and 389-DS
by etpoole60 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#4ZQ2Z)
I asked some of this question in the past I think but due to hardware issues I was side tracked but now I'm getting back on track.
I've got 2 of my 3 servers running like I think they should. I've chosen to pause and get my 389-ds working and it appears that it is. but nowhere can I find a tutorial or any kind of document showing how to take information about my LAN and add the information to the 389-DS machine.
I want to add information about 3 CentOS 7 machines running 6 KVM virtual machines; 2 machines running PostgreSQL RDBMS; 1 machine running primary DNS and 1 machine running secondary DNS;
I've got 5 physical machines running CentOS 7; 3 physical machines running Windows 7; 1 physical machine running ArcaOS 5.0 (OS/2 updated).
I want to use 389-DS to control access to areas on these machines.
Is there some sort of tutorial?
