KDE Plasma 5.18 + Qemu/KVM = issues with resolution?

So, installed a new VM with Void today to test some stuff on it. Found I can no longer change the resolution. To test, install a Debian, Neon, and Arch VM as well. All those that have plasma 5.18.1 in their repos (everything except Debian), I cannot change resolution on the VM. It shows other resolutions, I can choose the resolution, and upon hitting apply it does START to change resolution before reverting to 1024x768. Debian works exactly as one would expect. All are configured to use EFI booting, spice display, QXL video w/ 16 MB. Host is Debian 10. Is there a known issue with Plasma 5.18.x when used on Qemu VM's? I know for a fact this worked previously on an older Void VM with the same configuration on the same host.
