Plasma 5 "Picture of the Day" issue

Hi,
While attempting to use Plasma 5's "Picture of the Day" feature in desktop settings, I noticed that when selecting Astronomy Picture of the Day, the picture does not load and I simply have a black background. The other choices work fine.
Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me/my distro? I'm running Gentoo with Plasma version 5.17.5.
