Thinking of moving to -current

Hi,
I have a Slackware 14.2 VPS which I'm considering moving to -current now rather than waiting for 15.0 to come out.
Is there anything I should know (other than this regarding slackbuilds: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ls-4175561999/) and ensuring config files are replaced with their .new ones? X is not installed except for some X-related packages to provide needed libraries to programs such as links.
