slackware-current and intel IGP
by deNiro from LinuxQuestions.org on (#50B6F)
I have read some of the recent issues with the newer kernels and intel IGP. It is not quite clear to me whether these are breaking issues or just annoying quirks.
I would like to install slackware-current, and I am aware that it is not really suited for production. However I need some of the newer stuff in Slackware-current to run certain programs, which I can not install on slackware 14.2
Can anyone here, that is running slackware-current With a laptop with an intel IGP, tell Whether they can use slackware current with an intel IGP?
(mine is a 9 year old laptop with sandy bridge processor, which is I guess, HD Graphics 3000) Or is it better for me to wait a while, before moving to current?
