Gaming: Steam on linux
by Ferrator from LinuxQuestions.org on (#50CYW)
Good day
I am as the thread inclines a Linux noob. I have been watching Chris Titus on YouTube and I am pretty much exited to game on Linux. I installed Manjaro I have steam and Lutris. I even have custom proton builds.
However I have one concern. How would I know that steam is using the correct GPU? Unfortunately I only have one computer. It is an hp pavilion dv6 and it comes with an AMD Radeon HD 6770m switchable GPU. This already seemed o pose a problem in windows 10. I know there are some Steam settings I could tweak like setting launch options. Is there a way to set a launch option to specifically use the AMD GPU?
