The Dallas Cowboys have offered Dak Prescott a new contract worth $33 million annually with $105 million guaranteed, according to Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News.

Team officials have met with the agents for both the quarterback and wide receiver Amari Cooper twice since the combine, Watkins reports. The two players are pending free agents this offseason.

The signal-caller is expected to be franchise tagged if a long-term deal isn't signed before free agency opens on March 18. Both the 26-year-old and Dallas reportedly want to work out a multi-year pact, but the two sides disagree about the quarterback's value.

Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and the Rams' Jared Goff are currently the highest-paid quarterbacks in average salary and guaranteed money while earning $35 million and $110 million, respectively.

Earlier in February, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said his club hadn't met or negotiated with Prescott since September.

The two-time Pro Bowler established career highs in yards (4,902) and touchdowns (30) last season.

Cooper, meanwhile, has amassed 132 receptions for 1,914 yards and 14 touchdowns in 25 regular-season games as a Cowboy. Dallas traded a first-round pick for the wideout midway through the 2018 campaign.

The 25-year-old has said multiple times he wants to re-sign with the Cowboys.
