The Buffalo Bills bolstered their pass rush Monday, agreeing to a three-year contract with free-agent defensive end Mario Addison, a source told ESPN's Marcel Louis-Jacques.

Addison, formerly with the Carolina Panthers, has at least nine sacks in each of the last four seasons.

The reported signing caps a busy day for the Bills. Buffalo reportedly acquired Stefon Diggs from the Minnesota Vikings and also agreed to terms with free-agent linebacker A.J. Klein.

Addison's deal represents a reunion of sorts. Bills general manager Brandon Beane was an executive with the Panthers from 2008-2016, while head coach Sean McDermott was the veteran's defensive coordinator in Carolina for four-plus seasons.

The 32-year-old will presumably slide into Shaq Lawson's spot in the lineup. Lawson agreed to a three-year contract with the Miami Dolphins earlier Monday.
