Report: Raiders bolster secondary with Apple addition
The Las Vegas Raiders agreed to a deal with former first-round cornerback Eli Apple, according to Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune.
Apple is the latest defensive addition for the Raiders, who have been aggressively attempting to improve the unit in free agency:

The 24-year-old was selected 10th overall by the New York Giants in the 2016 draft but was traded to the New Orleans Saints halfway through his third season in 2018.
Apple started 15 games for the Saints last year, racking up 58 total tackles, four pass defenses, and one forced fumble.
The cornerback will presumably be first in line to win the starting job opposite Trayvon Mullen.
