What's this repository?
by userzero from LinuxQuestions.org on (#50ZVD)
Hi All,
I'm running Debian Testing "Bullseye" and have the standard sources.list file. I was playing around with an app that generates a sources.list file. The only difference is that it suggested the following repository:
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ testing-updates main
Not sure what "testing-updates" is and if it will benefit me in any way. Below are the actual active repositories in my sources.list:
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
deb-src http://deb.debian.org/debian/ testing main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security testing-security main contrib non-free
deb-src http://security.debian.org/debian-security testing-security main contrib non-free
Thanks!
