What happened -Dual Boot?

Sometime ago I purchased a refurbished desktop with win 10 installed. Decided to do a dual install using Linux Mint 19.3. Using a distro.
When it came to the installation type I got the message that the computer I'm planning to use does not have any operating systems installed on it and sure enough there are no partitions showing?
What am I doing wrong? I must of missed something? Any an all assistance would be appreciated. Thank you very much! PW USAF 62-66
