Opening .AppImage file and getting no--sandbox error

Hello, I am trying to redownload Unity on linux mint 19.3. I did not have the current issue a few weeks ago but for some reason this is occuring. Attached is a screenshot of the error in terminal for more in depth look.
Terminal:

Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)
I am not sure as to what to do or how to begin to solve this problem. If someone knows either the solution or somewhere to point me to the possible solution I would appreciate it. Thank you.
