BL5.1 - Enable presentation mode only when Kodi is running?

Since I wasn't able to find a way to adjust Bodhi like that, I just thought, what about creating a script for the start up programmes, which is able to check the existence of a Kodi instance, let's say once or twice per minute, turn on presentation mode, if Kodi is running and turning it off again, if Kodi was closed.

Is there anybody around, being able to create such a script, please?
