TWM configure

Hi TWM and FVWM geeks!
I need some help with icons configure. I want to get small Icons without images, just a rectangles with a text. Now I have rectangles with text and image, and this image is very large. Man page of TWM says it can be configurable with some variables, but I was unable to find out which variables can do that.
Any help would be appreciated.
