Can't adjust brightness on GDM
by XDimensioN from LinuxQuestions.org on (#51C7D)
Hi
I am using Fedora 31 on my Asus Notebook. Recently, I noticed that in GDM
(gdm-1:3.34.1-1) when trying to adjust my screen brightness using the slider (right top of the screen), nothing happens. I tried a potential fix I found on the net that suggest to add kernel boot parameters:
Code:acpi_osi=linux acpi_backlight=vendorUnfortunately, these parameters did not help me.
Did anyone have this issue
Any comment or suggestion is welcome
Thanks in advance
