failure to install on HP pavilion 23 all in one

This all in one has a simple 2 terabyte Western digital hard drive and is older hardware, nothing special.
The live DVD in both KDE and MATE runs flawlessly, but the installer won't even open up on that.
When booting into the installer, it fails to create a partition table using the command sfdisk /dev/sda.
Sadly enough, these glitches can't be fixed by end users. I just wanted something different then Linux mint, which is utterly flawless.
Only the development team can fix this. I was using the latest and greatest edition 19.03. I tried 2 different desktops on 2 different DVDs.
