AdobeStock_249456318-300x200.jpegOn March 16, 2020, we wrote that the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") has proposed to eliminate the rule that requires cable television systems to post in their online public inspection file ("OPIF") information about the nature and extent of their attributable interests in video program services and which of those services they own are carried on their system.

The Notice of Proposed Rulemakinghas now been published in the Federal Register, and the deadline for Comments is set for May 4, 2020, with Reply Comments due May 18, 2020.
