Ideas for gym space?
by ReformedTechie from LinuxQuestions.org on (#51PJ8)
I have had several severe spine injuries in my life. I *have* to perform ~12-15 hours a week of physical therapy in order to stay mobile; with the gyms closed this has become an extreme challenge.
I live in a 20 foot RV. 99+% of the "work out at home" stuff will not work for me b/c I do not have a doorjamb or a house-grade door and barely enough space to change my mind.
I live in an RV park in the PNW. I am not allowed to put up any temporary (or permanent) structures. So no tent's, shed's, etc. (Not even a just sunshade canopy.) It is still too cold up here to workout outside. And before long it will be rather hot w/ no shade. I would prefer indoors if I can figure something out.
Houses and apartments are too expensive for my budget. I am on a fixed income. My rent at the RV park is only $350 a month.
Most office space is too big and even small ones are too expensive.
I'd rather not rely on someone else, like renting a garage. I want to be able to come and go as I please.
A storage bin would be perfect and in the budget. But it's also illegal to use it as a personal gym.
I am out of ideas.
Any suggestions?
