ChromeBook running xenial using crouton not working

So about 2 years ago I got a chromebook,
And had someone it IT install crouton and xe ial linux.
It worked great for a year or so. I don't use the chromwbook that often, 6 months ago I turned it one and I tried to start xenial and it doesn't work anymore. Using crouton after I start XFCE, i can switch. Back and forth between ANDROID OS and xenial, but just pressing 3 buttons so both OS work, live, not reboot required. I tried to find solution to error, but. No luck, others had the same problem. Any ideas?
