Free easy to use GUI Uptime monitor for Linux?

Hi,

I'm looking for an uptime monitor for a few servers that I have. I just need to know if a port is available, show this in a GUI (so no command line tools), send out notification emails when a system is down and keep a log when the system was online and when not.

Now Nagios is way too hard to configure, I tried it years ago and it was a P.I.T.A., but also of course, 100% total overkill for this problem. (like renting a 747 to deliver a letter ;-)
Are there any other alternatives? I'm not talking about a full fledged monitoring solution, but just a uptime watchdog, not much more.
I'm looking for something free, as most solutions are enterprise geared and profit off the hard configurability of Nagios and get SUUUUUUPER expensive (I know, Enterprise doesn't care about spending a few 10k dollars on something like that)
If possible, I prefer not to have to write a solution from scratch if I can avoid it.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=pPczdygu8uE:bBhRhqGyONc:F7zBnMy latest?i=pPczdygu8uE:bBhRhqGyONc:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=pPczdygu8uE:bBhRhqGyONc:gIN9vFwpPczdygu8uE
