Greetings background & A QUESTION

It has been over twenty (20) yrs since my last usage of Linux, has been within 'Mandrake,' 'Suse,' 'Red Hat,' along with others that are not supported any longer. With the forced feeding to Win10 Win7 SP1 Home Premium is getting to be unuseable.
Have setup dual booting Win7 with Mint Cinnamon Tina v19.2 ib a Dell 960 that had Win7 PRO, with a crash lost that and had to use Win7 Home Premium SP1 with most all updates to end of life for Win7. Also have within Win7 GRC
