Play gaming console in Window via hdmi input on my KUbuntu desktop

Hey folks,
I've got 3 screens setup on my KUbuntu desktop, I'd really like to be able to play my Nintendo Switch in a Window on one of my screens and make use of the desktops existing speakers.
For that to work I need a virtually zero lag hardware adapter to feed the hdmi input into my desktop, I also need a software solution.
Has anyone done similar?
