CCM Hockey is following in the footsteps of its main competitor, and it's all for a good cause.

The manufacturing company is revamping its production facility to make 150 full protective hoods per day to help medical workers fight the coronavirus pandemic, according to Sportsnet's Chris Johnston.

CCM Hockey is re-engineering its production facility to make full protective hoods for healthcare workers fighting COVID-19. The hoods were designed by Dr. Reni(C) Caissie and include air-purifying respirators from Industrie Orkan.

Bauer Hockey announced in March that it would produce face shields for health-care workers.
