Pop!_OS / Linux Noob here... Need help adding PPA's / Repositories

Excuse me, I'm pretty new to Linux.
I've been trying to allocate and add the right PPAs. And what's the best method?
Should i be downloading ones based on Ubuntu 19.10 since the distro is based on it?
Currently I have Flatpak, Snap Store, and was able to add one repository when first starting my OS via a guide on YouTube, but have since lost said tutorial..
I've done some commands in the past but definately need to learn more basics.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
