Who's Better Security Linux or Windows?

Hello Everyone, I am confused to choose linux over windows. which one is more secure and what the exact prince of linux. As I read Linux is generally more secure than Windows. Even though attack vectors are still discovered in Linux, due to its open-source technology, anyone can review the vulnerabilities, which makes the identification and resolving process faster and easier. Is it right information? because most of the people said to me the window is better then linux. Can anyone tell me head to head comparison between linux and windows?
