The Jacksonville Jaguars have engaged in trade discussions with multiple teams regarding running back Leonard Fournette, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

If traded, Fournette would be the latest big-name player to be shipped out of Jacksonville amid an aggressive rebuilding effort.

Cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye, defensive end Calais Campbell, and quarterback Nick Foles have all been traded within the last six months. Franchise-tagged pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue has also made it clear he wants the Jaguars to trade him.

Fournette, 25, is set to earn $4.17 million in base salary in his fourth NFL season and owns an $8.64-million cap hit, according to Spotrac. As a former first-round pick, the running back has a fifth-year team option that could keep him under contract for 2021.

The report of Fournette's availability comes two days after the running back publically called for the Jaguars to sign Cam Newton to compete with sophomore quarterback Gardner Minshew.

Fournette bounced back after missing eight games in 2018, racking up 1,152 yards and three touchdowns last season. The No. 4 overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft rushed for 1,040 yards and nine touchdowns as a rookie.
