New and anxious

Hi all. Been a Windows guy forever, and recently got interested in using the CLI. Was advised to consider UNIX/Linux so here I am. No clue what am about to get myself in but hoping it will be a new and memorable experience. Am considering setting up a Debian and a FreeBSD machine - not partitioned but on separate physical drives. You will definitely see me here asking a lot as I start my NIX journey. Wish me luck.
