by Jack Browne from on (#52QYF)
The Houston Texans released safety Tashaun Gipson, a source told Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
The move creates $3.2 million in cap space and leaves $4.25 million in dead money, per Over The Cap.
Gipson, 29, was signed to a three-year, $22.5-million deal as a free agent last March.
The veteran started 14 games for the Texans in 2019 before being placed on injured reserve with a back injury.
