Help! Problem with connecting to WiFi and my WiFi adaptor module Edup(RTL8812BU) on VMware workstation player Parrot OS Ubuntu 64bit

Have tried numerous things followed numerous readme's to no avail please help want to set up my network adaptor Edup chipset rtl8812bu Main goal is packet injections and monitor mode on a Lenovo ideapad s145-14IWL Parrot OS and Ubuntu 64bit environment! Fresh install just waiting on a complete walk through of how to achieve this lol yes basically need someone to hold my hand through it all and I can handle the rest I just hit a dead end and said screw it I'm just gonna do a fresh install and wait on guidance from one of these forums.
