Vnstat stopped collecting data ;disabled

I am running Ubuntu Mate 16.04 and have installed vnstat a long time ago, maybe 2~ years and it has been running ok. However today when I ran the command vnstat this is what I got Code:odroid@odroid:~$ vnstat
