Numerous problems

Hi,
since a couple of weeks Im experiencing more and more problems with Linux. I feel like it has to do with the recent update from Linux mint 19.2 to 19.3
However you may think different;
- left USB ports dont do anything
- I can cut, copy or delete files or folders in File System and Data folder
- Ctrl+ stopped working as zooming tool
Can someone help me out please? I tried to recover with Timeshift to a month ago, however that seemed to change anything. But it wasnt as simple as System recovery on Windows cause I could click several options, so probably I made a mistake there.
