Best Distro for use with Keepkey

Hello! I am completely new to Unix, and am using a HP Pavilion running Windows 7 Vista Home Premium. The processor is an Intel Dual Core CPU running at 2 GHz and 4GB of RAM. I would like a version of Linux to use with my Keep Key primarily for transferring and storing my Crypto currencies. I would like to run it from a USB drive. Can I get a recommendation from someone who is running a system like this. Thank you all so much for all of the work that has gone into this amazing, individual sovereignty oriented alternative to Windows and Mac.
