GPU cgroup?

Last year kernel mailing list discussed adding cgroup graphics processing unit (GPU, graphics processor) control, so for example, if you want to compute with a graphics card but still use it for display(s) you can limit number of GPUs computation will use, or at least percentage of GPU system resources (note, GPUs are not at all same as cards, but for example one current-day card might have 64 GPUs, same as how one workstation/server might have two or four central processing units (CPUs, processors) on system-/logic-main/-mother-board, or slots of such boards, then even more 'logical'/'numbered' CPUs--cores--but average user calls computer case/tower 'CPU;' now similarly calling card 'GPU'... if you compute/program with them, you should have a list available of all individual processors/units/cores within.)
