Hamilton man, woman among trio charged in Brantford drug and gun bust
Three people, including two from Hamilton, are facing charges in a drugs and gun investigation in Brantford.
Brantford police said they seized a semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, 250 grams of suspected cocaine valued around $25,000, prescription medication and $5,000 in cash Tuesday, May 5.
Officers arrested an armed person" as part of the ongoing drugs and weapons investigation, then officers executed a warrant at a Alfred Street residence, police said.
A 28-year-old Hamilton man, a 19-year-old Hamilton woman and a 27-year-old Brantford woman were arrested. All three are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and careless storage of ammunition.
The Hamilton man also faces multiple firearm charges.
