A reunion between the Seattle Seahawks and defensive end Jadeveon Clowney isn't likely at this point, though both sides are still open to it, a source told ESPN's Brady Henderson.

Clowney would need to take significantly less money than the team previously offered him for a reunion to happen, Henderson reports.

The 2014 first overall pick said Tuesday he loves Seattle, according to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. "I hope we can work something out if anything happens," Clowney added. "I did like it up there."

The Tennessee Titans are reportedly also interested in the three-time Pro Bowler. Both the Titans and Seahawks have made multiple reported offers to Clowney, but none matching his price tag.

Clowney was reportedly eyeing $20 million annually ahead of free agency, but he dropped his target to around $18 million after failing to ink a deal immediately. Clowney reportedly "is just not in a hurry" to join a team.

Excluding his injury-plagued four-game rookie season, the 27-year-old's three sacks and 31 tackles over 13 contests during his first year with Seattle were all career lows. Since entering the NFL, Clowney has played all 16 regular-season games just once (2017).
