More on mouse/KB issues I thought solved

The original thread: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...ey-4175672590/
What's new: I've had the issue return, and went farther afield in my search, and came up with these:
https://forum.level1techs.com/t/rx-5...-issues/156643
and
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/issues/1001
These posts tell me I may have a "vsync' problem, with the graphics card (Radeon RX580) and the monitor (Asus VG248) not agreeing, but AMD has a solution perhaps:
htthttps://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-754p://
FreeSync is supported on this graphics card but I'm not getting anywhere - when I try to test whether I can use it, with this command, Code:DISPLAY=:0 xrandr --prop I don't understand the results.
I really have no idea if this will help or solve my issue, but it would be nice to find out.
