Peculiar Wifi Desktop problem

I have a desktop with Fedora 31, Windows 10, MakuluLinux and Windows 12 Lite on. I have just bought an Evo N.300 WiFi adaptor that was shown as a red packet but the one that arrived was a black packet. It says it works for Linux.

It is recognized as a WiFi USB and you can enter the password but does not connect in all operating systems except Windows. However, it did once connect with MakuluLinux but does not anymore.

When you have a USB that does not work with Linux they are not recognized but this is recognized with Fedora and the other OS's. When booting it cycles through all the USB ports. I have never seen this behaviour before.

Is there anyway I can find out what the WiFi chipset is?

Any way of adding a patch to make this work?

I have ordered a TP-Link WiFi USB which always works but will not have it for a couple of days.

This is a peculiar puzzle why it almost connects and allows you to enter the password but does not connect except the one time with MakuluLinux but rebooting did not connect but remembered the password.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=VPK4NQTY8w0:ZQgZmPXzlsY:F7zBnMy latest?i=VPK4NQTY8w0:ZQgZmPXzlsY:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=VPK4NQTY8w0:ZQgZmPXzlsY:gIN9vFwVPK4NQTY8w0
