The PS5 October 2020 release window was listed in error

If you were starting to get your hopes up that the PlayStation 5 (PS5) release window was being made available today, it's time to crush those hopes. Earlier today, a Japanese job listing for Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) was noticed for stating that the PlayStation 5 would be released in October 2020.
According to Famitsu, who reached out to SIE for comment on the situation, SIE responded stating the listing was made in error and there is no update on the release window for the PS5. For now, the PS5 is still set to release sometime in Holiday 2020.
Still, we did get a small tidbit of PS5 news today all the same: the reveal of the PlayStation Studios branding, which will accompany first-party PS5 games.
