Mounting file systems

Hello,

Im very new to Linux and today I decided to open an old photos cd-rom on my laptop. To do that, I learned about file systems and that I had to mount the cd-rom before I could open it's photos. I did it and it worked all well, and then I unmounted it so I could use a different cd. The problem is that everytime I insert a new cd it is automatically mounted, which I cannot understand why. Wasn't I supposed to mount it again every time I change the cdrom in the driver? I mean, that's what I learned. I already checked the fstab file to see if it was set to mount automatically but it's not.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=rTJKh-NG0WE:NZf3CP6I-3o:F7zBnMy latest?i=rTJKh-NG0WE:NZf3CP6I-3o:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=rTJKh-NG0WE:NZf3CP6I-3o:gIN9vFwrTJKh-NG0WE
