LQ forum search tool

I have tried on several occasions to use the Search tool for individual forums on LQ. I think I've gotten it to work just once out of 30 or so searches over a few months. Just a few minutes ago, I tried to search for "ntfs-3g" in the Search option for the Linux - General forum. I often get an error with the Search tool in the toolbar at the top of LQ too. The screenshot below is the error I get. Is there something I may be missing? My search terms are normally just one word, to keep it simple.
