The COVID-19 pandemic has prohibited fireworks this Victoria Day weekend in Hamilton.
City council approved a ban on the sale or use of home fireworks ahead of the Victoria Day long weekend that will continue through Canada Day until July 4.
Sunday and Monday's weather wasn't in a co-operative state for outdoor fun anyway.
