Police identify two men killed in Oakville shooting as hunt for killer continues

Halton Police have identified the two victims killed in a shooting early Saturday morning in Oakville.

Afheed (Al) Rehmtulla, 43, and Kareem Wade, 34, were shot outside PurePages, a custom internet and wi-fi company on Iroquois Shore Road near Eighth Line, around 3:10 a.m.

Two other people were shot and they are expected to make a full recovery. Police are not identifying those two people.

Halton Police believe it was a targeted shooting, although the motive is not known.

Police forensic investigators were still on the scene late Saturday afternoon collecting evidence.

Investigators are also interested in speaking to the driver of a white sedan that was seen in the area at the time of the shooting. The vehicle is not believed to be involved.

Police are also appealing to the public for any dash cam or home or business surveillance video from the area of Iroquois Shore Road and Eighth Line between midnight and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. They are asking anyone with information about the shooting, or the events leading up to it, to contact the homicide tip line at 905-825-4776.
