How do I set up file sharing between a desktop pc and a notebook pc both running Fedora 32?

I have 2 PCs, a notebook and a desktop, both running Fedora 32 Workstation. It's been many years since I've done any network set-ups, over 20 years and I'm in need of some assistance. I have found the Simple NFS thread but I noticed that it was dated several years ago and am wondering if it still applies on what I'm working with. Also I have seen info on SSHFS and was wondering if that would work for streaming media files? If so would that be more preferred than NFS, and can someone give me directions on setting either one up and what I need to do to use key authorization instead of password? I thank you to anyone that can offer me any guidance on this.
