GNOME DE Themes/Shell Extensions
by heatherlka from LinuxQuestions.org on (#53QSN)
Hi! I did try to do a forum search, maybe I was not using the right combination of words.
I have recently installed the latest version of Pop! OS (20.x) and have the GNOME DE, which is fine and I like it, however, I would like to have some variety to my DE.
I have tired on my own looking for DE Themes and how to install them, but so far I have not succeeded in being able to "have them" after thinking I have followed the steps correctly.
Can someone either point me in the right direction of a very step-by-step hand-holding tutorial for this or link me a thread that I didn't find or provided me with the Dummies version, please.
I am not a total Linux noob, I am familiar with terminal and pretty comfortable with the basics there and I have managed to install GNOME Tweaks. Apparently, the best that I can piece together is that I am missing some steps between the downloading/extracting and the going into GNOME Tweaks to "turn it on" :(
Thanks in advance to any help I can get! :D
