Canadians favour overhaul of long-term-care homes, survey shows

OTTAWA-An overwhelming number of Canadians want long-term-care homes brought under the Canada Health Act to improve standards in facilities where the pandemic has laid bare the poor treatment of some elderly residents, according to a new survey.
