First attempt for LUKS passphrase always fails, what I'm doing wrong?

Hi all,
slackware64-current on LUKS+LVM with a passphrase long enough (at least I hope so). I'm experiencing a weird behavior: each time I boot the machine, the first passphrase input always fails. Then I input the same passphrase and the second attempt is successful.
I'm pretty sure for the passphrase correctness, in the last few days I am very careful on inputting it, but the machine behaves always the same.
Any idea on what could had happen?
