Do you know this girl? Brantford police release security picture after concerned citizen calls
Brantford police say they're still looking to identify a young girl seen walking alone in West Brant early Thursday morning.
The police service has released an image of the girl, who they now believe is between 10 and 12-years-old, from a security camera at a Shellard Lane plaza.
Police say the girl was seen by a concerned citizen walking in the area of Veteran's Memorial Parkway and Shellard Lane around 4:30 a.m. May 28.
She was last seen wearing a pink, long-sleeved shirt with a white and black stripe across the chest and light blue, pink and yellow pants.
Brantford police have not received a report of a missing person.
Police want to verify the girl's identity and check on her well being.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brantford Police Service at 519-756-7050.
