After an installation, a doubling of icons in menu folder
by crajor from LinuxQuestions.org on (#544SM)
Ok, so after WPS office told me of an 'update'(the 'update now' button sent me to a 404 address not found link) I went to the WPS website, downloaded the newest version (.deb file). I then installed this newest version with; Code:sudo gdebi-gtk(simply going to the gdebi GUI would not install, so I used this command in terminal).
I was able to install without incident after opening gdebi in this fashion. My problem is that the WPS installation just doubled the icons in my 'WPS office' box in my applications menu in my Main menu.
I am not finding anything anywhere that tells me how to remove these unnecessary icons. It is maddening to say the least. How do I remove these unnecessary icons? Any help would be very much appreciated.
